Significance Evaluations

Sandhya meets the US Secretary of the Interior's Professional Qualification Standards for Architecture, Historic Architecture and Architectural History. She is qualified to prepare Historic Resource Evaluations ( HRE), Historic Structure Reports (HSR), Mills Act applications and feasibility studies. Technical analysis of cultural resources for compliance with state laws such as the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as well as local planning policies and code requirements can also be provided. HRE's maybe required by local jurisdictions as part of the planning process for development projects associated with potential historic resources.  A Project Impact Analysis (PIA) can examine a proposed project's impact on the significance of a historic resource pursuant to CEQA guidelines. As a Preservation Architect, Sandhya has the qualification, knowledge and experience in guiding projects to meet the Secretary of Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic properties.
