Sandhya worked with my wife and I very closely, listening to our desires/needs and involving them in the design process to create a cost effective, aesthetic and very functional space. She came up with an innovative and efficient design solving functional problems in the existing layout while bringing in light and spaciousness.

Sandhya is very knowledgeable about collaborative design and helped us figure out how to get community input in our design process. She was expert, professional, and generous with her time. After just a basic introduction to our project and goals, she immediately identified the key issues and gave us many useful ideas for how to address them. -Meredith Walters, HUB Berkeley
We hired Sandhya to work on our 120 year old residence that became a Berkeley Landmark after completing a major renovation. One of the most important decisions Sandhya steered us toward was highlighting the natural beauty of the building's elements carved from old growth redwood. Rather than cover them up with new paint, as we had initially intended, she showed us ways to reveal and restore the original wood. This decision alone revolutionized the building's façade, renewing it with fresh life. She also educated and inspired us on how we could re-use the redwood removed during renovation in creative ways to beautify the interior. -May Welsh, Berkeley
We hired Sandhya for design before starting an extensive remodel of our Eichler home. She was very professional and listened well and was very quickly able to summarize and synthesize our desires. She also brought in some original ideas and options for us to consider which blended modern with our traditional Indian way of life. -Suresh Chandrasekaran, VP Denodo Technologies, San Mateo
The Northern California Chapter of Society of Architectural Historians (NCCSAH) commissioned Sandhya to curate a talk on Julia Morgan and her architecture. In her excellent presentation at Asilomar's Chapel, Sandhya shared her primary research and many fascinating insights into Julia Morgan's impressive contribution to the architecture of California. -Ward Hill, NCCSAH San Francisco.
