Vibrant craftsman

The renovation of a nineteen twenties Craftsman bungalow in Oakland, CA led to a rearrangement of diverse spatial functions for this creative family of four. The remodelled kitchen now includes a dedicated baking area and new counter that doubles as a gathering spot for the family. Coloured, hand-made tiles invite children to the kitchen and nod to the craftsman era of the house. A vibrant accent wall showcases a family heirloom.
