Julia Morgan's Asilomar

In observance of 2015 as the year of Julia Morgan, Northern California Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians (NCCSAH) commissioned Sandhya to present her research on Julia Morgan’s approach to site planning at Asilomar. The sold-out event was held at the legendary Chapel  designed by Julia Morgan. NCCSAH’s program included a tour of Asilomar by historian Michael Meloy, followed by a presentation by architectural historian Bridget Maley on John Warnecke’s work at Asilomar. The next day’s highlight was a tour of Hearst Castle and gardens by architectural historian Victoria Kastner.
